Air Ships

Like silver sails on silver ships,
A fleet of clouds floats by then slips
Into its Milky Way lagoon
Beneath the lighthouse of the moon.

  1. Now, every time I see the moon, I will think "lighthouse". Thank you, Charles.

  2. Oh, I love to cloud-watch, and now I'll see them a little different. This is one of my favorites of the poems you've posted. Just gorgeous.

  3. Love the Milky Way lagoon--and thinking of the moon as a lighthouse.

FYI: I just added your blog to my blogroll at Wild Rose Reader.

  4. Beautiful imagery. The slippery sounds of the first line and the moon as lighthouse. So much in so little!
