Summer Storm At Midnight

A bolt of lightning wakes the world
Out of its sleepy slumber
As distant tree frogs echo on
In waves of rolling thunder.

We've had some terrific middle of the night storms this week.

The world feels so clean and green the next day.

And yep! Tree frogs are still singing.

Thanks, Joyce. So much wild weather this summer, yet the glorious tree frogs continue to soothe us with their sweet serenade.

Definitely nodding along to this one this week - Here in Georgia, we get your Alabama storms when you're through with them....

Love how you connect the thunder and those rumbly frogs!
