"Peach Dreams" by Charles Ghigna

Peach Dreams

On a limb
There hangs a peach
Above my head
And out of reach.

I jump and jump
But cannot touch
That one big peach
I love so much.

Tomorrow I will
Try again
Because I will be
Taller then.

  5. Makes me remember finally being able to reach...the day I was taller.

  6. ...and it reminds me of my student's comment about the line preschoolers one day in the hall, "I remember being that small, but I don't remember growing!"

  7. Thanks, Bridget, Donna and Mary Lee.

Great quote from your student, Mary Lee. You should do a book of quotes from your preschoolers. Don't think I've see anything like that since Art Linkletter's "Kids Say the Darnest Things."
