Air Ships

Like silver sails on silver ships,
A fleet of clouds floats by then slips
Into its Milky Way lagoon
Beneath the lighthouse of the moon.

Now, every time I see the moon, I will think "lighthouse". Thank you, Charles.

Oh, I love to cloud-watch, and now I'll see them a little different. This is one of my favorites of the poems you've posted. Just gorgeous.

Love the Milky Way lagoon--and thinking of the moon as a lighthouse.

FYI: I just added your blog to my blogroll at Wild Rose Reader.

Beautiful imagery. The slippery sounds of the first line and the moon as lighthouse. So much in so little!
